男，汉族，1942年1月生，河北省威县人。
1957年加入威县乱弹剧团，拜乱弹名家孟宪东为师，先后学习排演了《临潼山》《满江红》《杨金花夺印》《王怀女》《宝莲灯》《红灯照》等剧目，扮演了杨广、狄青、孟良、霹雳大仙、裕禄等重要角色。
专攻花脸行当，基本功扎实。
声腔与表演具有浑朴粗犷的特点，高亢激越，拖腔流畅，运用自如。
表演细腻，具有浓郁的地方色彩。
保存有威县乱弹剧本、剧照、曲谱和威县乱弹剧团各个时期的演出资料，绘制威县乱弹代表性脸谱三十余个。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目乱弹（威县乱弹）代表性传承人。
