受家庭熏陶，自幼跟随祖父学习柳子戏。

男，汉族，1943年10月生，山东省巨野县人。
1958年考入郓城县工农剧社（1959年更名为山东省柳子剧团），1960年正式拜柳子戏大师张春雷为师，主攻花脸、红脸。
在几十年的从艺生涯中，不断研习柳子戏唱腔，形成了自己的演唱风格，在舞台上塑造了许多不同的艺术形象。
代表作有《张飞闯辕门》《五台会兄》《孙安动本》等。
在继承传统的基础上，将原来整理的“柳子戏程式规范百字经”加以充实、修改，积极承担传承、发展柳子戏的责任。
Honors & Recognition
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目柳子戏代表性传承人。
