艺名换柱子，从孩童时期就爱上了曲子戏，一生对敦煌曲子戏情有独钟，凡师父传授的曲子戏剧本、唱腔、动作都能够熟记于心。

演唱中充分发挥个人天赋，唱腔音色优美，音域宽广，收声归韵，声情并茂，不仅能唱声，且能唱情。
舞台演出中的扮相英俊，充分体现出所扮角色的特征，在不同的剧情中塑造出个性不同的小生。
不仅能演曲子戏的小生、老生，还能演奏二胡、三弦，多才多艺。
代表作有《打懒婆》《高文举观星》《老少换》等。

男，汉族，1941年2月生，2013年11月去世，甘肃省敦煌县人。
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目曲子戏（敦煌曲子戏）代表性传承人。
