出身于秧歌世家，自幼习艺，基本功扎实，受其祖父张汉、父亲张元业精心传授，对秧歌艺术有较全面的掌握。

男，汉族，1951年2月生，山西省朔县人。

扮相优美，戏路较宽，表演细腻，做功扎实，且擅长反串表演，在甩发、水袖、髯口、翎翅、手帕功夫的应用上更有独到之处。

代表作品有《泥窑》《血手印》《看庄园》等。

在长期实践中继承了前辈艺术的精华，同时根据实际需要吸收一些小调、山歌来丰富唱腔、塑造人物，还在乐器运用上进行大胆尝试。

Honors & Recognition

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目秧歌戏（朔州秧歌）代表性传承人。

2005年又组建朔州秧歌培训学校，面向社会招生，并委托大同市文化艺术学校和秧歌剧团定向培养朔州秧歌戏人才。
