1979年开始向老艺人郎自立学习影偶制作，同时着手海宁皮影戏的抢救工作，动员七位老艺人恢复了斜桥镇皮影戏班，主动担任皮影造型。

经过二十多年的努力，基于海宁皮影造型特点、变化规律、色彩要求，为多地皮影戏班制作了千余件影偶以及大量动物、植物、建筑物等皮影道具，作品被上海博物馆、上海美术馆、海宁博物馆等场馆收藏。

Honors & Recognition

男，汉族，1934年3月生，2013年9月去世，浙江省海宁县人。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目皮影戏（海宁皮影戏）代表性传承人。

培养了张英、徐芦燕、陈洁等学生，为海宁皮影戏影偶制作培养了后继人才。
