男，汉族，1955年3月生，吉林省农安县人。
出身于民间艺人家庭，从小随父学习民间鼓乐艺术，20世纪70年代末和80年代初，在本地老艺人的帮带下，潜心钻研黄龙戏音乐及其基调音乐——本地“地蹦影”音乐。
在充分继承传统唱腔的基础上大胆创新，逐步把黄龙戏唱腔音乐丰富成为独具艺术魅力和地域文化色彩的地方传统戏曲音乐品种。
独立创作了大型黄龙戏、辽剧等音乐作品四十余部，先后推出了大型黄龙戏辽金历史故事剧《兀术与鹰格》、大型黄龙戏现代戏《恩怨长山屯》等，并在省、市公演中获奖，使古老的黄龙戏又焕发出勃勃生机。
