自幼喜爱民族音乐、舞蹈、乐器，10岁左右跟随当地老艺人学艺，能唱《梅葛》《玛嫫诺》等各种小调，会吹唢呐、笛子和演奏二胡，能作曲、表演。
Mastery, Signature Works & Repertoire
先后担任业余彝剧团伴奏、音乐创作和演员，集吹、拉、弹、唱、演于一身。
能熟练运用彝语演唱《梅葛调》《过山调》《迎客调》等数十首彝族民歌和器乐曲，参演过《半夜羊叫》《曼嫫与玛若》等彝剧剧目。
演唱声音优美，婉转动听；演奏唢呐高亢明亮，技艺高超，深受当地群众喜爱。
Honors & Recognition
男，彝族，1944年5月生，2013年1月去世，云南省大姚县人。
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目彝剧代表性传承人。
多年来，致力于彝剧研究和传承人培养，教授了李自忠等一批弟子。
