15岁考入南宁市邕剧团，师从著名邕剧艺人黄芝兰、张伟雄，专攻散发旦，兼攻花旦。

女，汉族，1944年11月生，广西壮族自治区南宁市人。
嗓音洪亮，身段玲珑，唱功极佳，曾主演《杨八姐搬兵》《梨花罪子》《春草闯堂》等数十个邕剧经典剧目。
退休后被返聘至邕剧团，参与剧本创作、唱腔音乐设计等工作。
Honors & Recognition
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目邕剧代表性传承人。
与其他人共同创作了《龙象塔奇缘》《开泰新声》《枣树搬家》《老少村官》等新剧目，并多次在国家级、自治区级会演和比赛中获奖，邕剧也获得了全国稀有剧种保护奖。
致力于培养传承人，收徒传艺，培养了中国戏剧梅花奖得主、国家一级演员梁素梅和国家二级演员姚艳等一批邕剧接班人。
