男，汉族，1940年8月生，重庆市人。
国家三级演员。
1953年进入重庆曲艺队当学员，拜师唐心林学唱车灯，继承了唐派“三好三合”的演唱特点，即“打得好、唱得好、表演得好，心合口、口合手、脚合锣”。
在多年演出实践积累的基础上，结合车灯曲目内容自主设计唱腔、动作，使车灯表演艺术得到进一步提升。
代表作有《没有过不去的山》《老城门》《欢迎你到山城游》等。
Honors & Recognition
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目车灯代表性传承人。
