自幼喜爱民间曲艺，5岁就学唱青海越弦、平弦和陕西的眉户戏，11岁登台表演，师从李范、贺成斌、陈子璋等学习青海越弦、青海平弦等曲艺曲种。

Mastery, Signature Works & Repertoire

声音高昂浑厚，吐字清晰，字正腔圆，感情丰富。

1978年至1985年间，整理的青海越弦、青海平弦传统唱词和曲谱被收入《青海民间曲艺选·湟中专辑》和《越弦音乐》。

Honors & Recognition

男，汉族，1925年9月生，2011年8月去世，青海省湟中县人。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目青海越弦代表性传承人。

参加原青海省文化厅举办的青海省曲艺会演，为《一担水》《寒夜弦声》伴奏，分获一、二等奖。
