1957年破格入黄岩翻簧厂，师从老艺人陈方俊。

男，汉族，1935年10月生，浙江省台州市人。
高级工艺美术师，浙江省工艺美术大师。
通过多年探索，继承并发展了翻簧雕刻艺术，形成其婉约、秀丽、精致的风格特点，作品深受国内外收藏者喜爱。
作品获省级以上金银铜奖五十多项，部分被中国工艺美术馆、浙江省博物馆等多家机构收藏。
1998年成立台州市黄岩翻簧研究所并任所长，在开展翻簧竹雕创作、技艺理论研究和对外交流展览的同时，积极带徒授艺。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目竹刻（黄岩翻簧竹雕）代表性传承人。
