从事彩灯制作六十余年，经验丰富，技术全面，技艺高超。
擅长人物故事灯、彩龙灯和彩灯画屏制作，作品构思独到，手法细腻。
所制人物灯造型生动，形象真切，线条流畅，有栩栩如生之感。
彩龙灯小至盈尺，巨则百米，能观能舞，灵活逼真；彩灯画屏则兼具灯彩和壁画的双重欣赏价值。
所制传统头牌灯曾入选全国工艺美术作品展，98米的巨型彩龙灯被澳大利亚墨尔本博物馆收藏。
积极传承佛山彩灯技艺，培养了一批青年工艺师和制作技术人员。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目灯彩（佛山彩灯）代表性传承人。
