男，汉族，1944年6月生，江西省湖口县人。

自幼爱好手工技艺，1956年随湖口草龙传承人周云开学习，熟练掌握草龙编制技艺。

采用编、插、织、嵌、镶、缠、绕等十多种手法编制的草龙，长达28米，龙身直径0.38米，用草八万余根，做工精细，惟妙惟肖。

女儿喻远莉承其技艺，现已能够独立编制草龙，并举办多期培训班传授技艺。

Honors & Recognition

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目草编（湖口草龙）代表性传承人。

其草编作品多次参展并获奖，1986年编制的草龙及游舞“草龙舞”入选《中国民间舞蹈集成·江西卷》，2015年编制的草龙被九江市博物馆收藏。
