男，汉族，1965年2月生，安徽省绩溪县人。
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目徽墨制作技艺代表性传承人。
自幼耳濡目染，对制墨有着浓厚的兴趣。
1983年进入绩溪县胡开文墨厂从事徽墨制作工作，很快掌握了制胶、炼烟、和料、配方、制墨等多道工序。
为弘扬制墨技艺，在继承传统灯盏炼烟和手工制墨的同时，整理搜集古旧墨模，与现代模具进行比较，开发研制出墨色光可鉴、上手硬朗、入纸坚润的超细纯油烟墨精品，使徽墨技艺达到了很高的境界。
作为传承徽墨制作技艺的民间艺人，长期致力于徽墨的制作、传承和后继人才培训等工作。
