第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目金银细工制作技艺代表性传承人。
中国工艺美术大师，高级工艺师。
青年时期开始从事美术设计，1970年调入宝庆银楼，从事金银摆件及首饰设计创作近四十年。
秉承传统，继承了我国传统金银制品的制作工艺，借鉴了历代工艺品的造型风格和特征，与宝庆银楼的老一辈工匠共同设计制作的金银摆件《金龙腾飞》《万象更新》《三马拉车》《唐皇马》等，将南方实镶錾花工艺与北方花丝工艺有机糅合，形成了宝庆银楼金银摆件浑厚大气、富丽华彩的艺术风格。
发表《艺术岂能论克卖》《一个艺术首饰消费的时代即将到来》《加强品牌的社会责任》等论文，引起行业关注。
