男，汉族，1968年2月生，山西省新绛县人。

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目砚台制作技艺（澄泥砚制作技艺）代表性传承人。

高级工艺美术师。

毕业于山西大学艺术系美术专业，多年潜心版画艺术学习和研究，并创作出了一大批版画、漆刻作品。

1983年开始搜集资料，着手恢复失传已久的传统制砚技艺。

1986年，成立山西省新绛县绛州澄泥砚研制所，与其子蔺涛合作，经过数年的不懈努力，终于使绛州澄泥砚重新问世。

选用过滤后的特种细泥，巧妙利用焙烧过程泥质窑变的规律烧制而成，因其土质特征与烧制火候有别，故独具风采。

近年来，澄泥砚研制所招收二十多名技工，悉心传艺，使其制作技艺得以传承和发展。
