男，汉族，1932年10月生，河南省沁阳市人。

自幼随父种植与炮制四大怀药，参加工作后仍利用业余时间随父劳动。

Honors & Recognition

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目中药炮制技术（四大怀药种植与炮制)代表性传承人。

经过近三十年的研究实验，在垆土地进行高产实验，亩产达2226.5公斤，是一般大田产量的近三倍；利用作物相生相克的原理，解决山药、地黄的重茬连作问题；培养驯化的山药新品种在垆土地种植单株可达2～3公斤；成功地将太行山悬崖上的石菊移植驯化，取名“怀庆崖菊”。

除向其子李茂青、孙子李波传授技艺以外，还向王国栋、宋良会、李树森、赵兴旺等农民传授技艺，然后再通过他们传授给所在村村民。
