男，水族，1943年7月生，贵州省荔波县人。

自幼跟随伯父学习水书，1953年后开始独立主持水书习俗活动。

1988年与水学专家姚福祥完成合译水书《亥子卷》。

1996年翻译水书《正七卷》。

被聘为荔波县水书研究员和黔南布依族苗族自治州水书专家。

多次向各地专家学者介绍水书或讲解水书习俗，接受多家媒体调查和采访，并进行水书习俗表演。

注重传承，举办水书培训班，部分学员已成为水书研究骨干。

Honors & Recognition

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目水书习俗代表性传承人。
