男，汉族，1949年3月生，湖北省云梦县人。

1978年拜老艺人刘修昌为师学演皮影戏，1983年又拜皮影表演艺术家陆春元为师，成为其关门弟子，擅长制作和表演。

1985年在城关东正街建起了梦泽影戏馆，每年演出三百六十四天。

演唱字正腔圆、优美动听，诙谐处令人捧腹，悲惨时催人泪下。

操影敏捷，散打双手舞十影，擅长枪战正面取头、回马取头、一战三取双头等绝招。

曾有美国、日本、意大利、法国等国的专家和学者慕名前来观看演出。

演出的代表性剧目有《武松打虎》《梁红玉击鼓战金兵》等。

制作的皮影代表性作品有《辕门斩子》《天仙配》《白蛇传》《黄香》等。

Honors & Recognition

第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目皮影戏（云梦皮影戏）代表性传承人。
