师承淮剧名家筱文艳，兼收并蓄，融传统和现代为一体，不断创新，将旦腔融进生腔，创作出生腔的〔小悲调〕〔大悲调〕，形成独特的陈派风格。
陈派传人众多，遍布多个团体，出现了“十生九陈”的现象。
2012年成立泰州市陈德林淮剧流派艺术研究会，为泰州淮剧艺术的传承、传播和发展继续发挥作用。

男，汉族，1945年3月生，江苏省泰州市人。
国家一级演员。
陈派生腔规范自由，清新柔美，又独具抒情风格。
先后演出上百出剧目，其中《牙痕记》《刘贵成私访》《团圆之后》《赵五娘》等剧目久演不衰。
弟子有曹征才、李加虎、谭步权等。
Honors & Recognition
第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目淮剧代表性传承人。
