1979年调入安阳县淮调剧团，跟随老艺人苗秀臣、王少顺、马贵卿、杨运福学艺，主攻武生、老生。

男，汉族，1956年6月生，河南省安阳县人。
嗓音清脆嘹亮、音域宽广，表现力强，大本腔、二本腔兼用；吐字清晰，唱腔优美。
表演动作干净，武功扎实，耍刀舞枪得心应手。
Honors & Recognition
第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目淮调代表性传承人。
多年来，培养了大批青年学生，弟子赵保娣攻老生、须生行当，孙学海攻短打武生，且均已成为淮调剧团的中流砥柱，为淮调的生存和延续做了大量工作。
