1958年在延边艺术学校师从朴贞烈学习盘索里，其间受到沈玉花、李金德以及来延边交流的朝鲜专家方玉兰等人的指导。
1987年7月，任教于延边大学艺术学院，教授盘索里和南道民谣。

女，朝鲜族，1941年2月生，吉林省延吉市人。
边执教边研究，独创了嗓音圆润高亢的发声方法，形成了完整的发声体系，并改编了盘索里、南道民谣的演唱方式，使其适合现代人的唱法。
传承的盘索里曲目大多出自《沈清歌》《春香歌》等“传统五歌”。
多年来通过举办“姜信子教学汇报演唱会”的形式，为学生们创造登台表演的机会，培养了不少盘索里表演人才。

第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目盘索里代表性传承人。
