1963年，与师傅缪金林等共同研制成功S型岳山二十一弦筝，不仅扩大了音域范围，而且美化了古筝的样式，后被轻工业部评为优质产品，已成为全国古筝的通用样式。

第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目民族乐器制作技艺（上海民族乐器制作技艺）代表性传承人。

高级技师。

1958年进入上海民族乐器一厂。

不断探索创新，从古筝的装饰、琴码的调整到琴弦的改良，实现了古筝制作发展的蜕变。

创意设计的双鹤朝阳样式的古筝已成为现代古筝的经典款式。

Honors & Recognition

男，汉族，1933年11月生，2019年4月去世，上海市人。

培养了一大批古筝制作的新生力量，连续四次被上海市人民政府评为上海市劳动模范。
