出身于漆艺世家，从1974年起，一直在波阳脱胎漆器厂随父学艺，其间到江西省美术研究所培训一年。

男，汉族，1956年7月生，江西省鄱阳县人。
第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目漆器髹饰技艺（鄱阳脱胎漆器髹饰技艺）代表性传承人。
高级工艺美术师。
1984年至1997年担任该厂领导，负责技术生产指导。
2000年该厂改制为民企，被聘为工程设计师。
2007年创办饶州脱胎漆器有限公司。
熟练掌握了该技艺所有工序，并将原成型水磨机床改造为直轴，还改进了大型花瓶旋转浇铸制模等技术。
作品被中国工艺美术馆收藏。
先后授徒六人，基本都能独立完成各道工序。
