第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目越窑青瓷烧制技艺代表性传承人。
高级工艺美术师，中国工艺美术大师。
毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院美术系陶瓷设计专业。
在六十余年从艺经历中，注重继承传统技艺，在传承实践中不断求新，艺术修养深厚，技艺精湛。
总结归纳了越窑青瓷刻、划花，青瓷褐彩等装饰技法，从设计、烧制到理论素养均有造诣。
陶瓷作品题材多样，功力深厚，以青瓷装饰见长，厚重中见清新，精巧瑰丽，风格独特。
代表作有《绣球花》《荷塘月色》《玉兰花》《天竹》等。
作品多次获国家级大奖，被中国工艺美术珍宝馆、中国国家博物馆、中国陶瓷馆等收藏。
坚持带徒传艺，继承传统技艺。
