13岁开始跟随村中的飘色“八音师傅”谭帝春学习飘色伴奏。

男，汉族，1945年12月生，广东省中山市人。
后来，运用广东音乐中的普通乐器，创造出极具地方特色的飘色伴奏音乐，使经历百年的“雅歌风”锣鼓班仍然风行至今。
同时，引进香港先进的锻造技术创作出“秋千色”，使飘色巡游更加人性化，也更具安全性、观赏性。
从20世纪60年代起，致力于学习继承崖口村飘色出巡活动的整体组织、策划等活动规则，并一直负责巡游组织工作。
为了让崖口飘色得以代代相传，还在村中教授年轻一代学习飘色的制作、出巡等技术，推动飘色艺术的发展。

第四批国家级非物质文化遗产项目抬阁（南朗崖口飘色）代表性传承人。
