父亲苏达那木是当地著名的民间歌手，从小聆听父亲演唱《前世积福》《铁青马》等察哈尔风格的长调民歌，学习和传承了大量的传统蒙古族长调民歌曲目。
1972年考入内蒙古艺术学校（今内蒙古艺术学院），师从长调教育家昭那斯图系统学习长调理论和演唱技巧。
Mastery, Signature Works & Repertoire
男，蒙古族，1953年2月生，内蒙古自治区镶黄旗人。
1975年分配到内蒙古歌舞团，其间又得到了长调艺术家哈扎布的指导。
在昭那斯图、哈扎布两位长调艺术家的熏陶和影响下，演唱技艺日臻成熟。
演唱将长调技巧、草原韵味、生活气息等融为一体，完整准确地表达和传承了长调前辈们的演唱风格。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目蒙古族长调民歌代表性传承人。
