20世纪80年代起，师从广陵琴派名家胡兰、林友仁学习古琴。

男，汉族，1963年7月生，江苏省扬州市人。
在继承广陵琴派飘逸跌宕、绮丽缠绵风格的基础上，将昆曲唱腔中的委婉、细腻、顿挫合理地运用到指法和琴曲中去。
演奏风格厚重沉稳、气韵饱满。
主要代表作有《平沙落雁》《山居吟》等。
同时善于制琴，所斫之琴以其端庄古朴的造型、松透圆润的音色，得到海内外琴界的高度认可，世称“马琴”。
2008年起先后成立南风琴社、汉风古琴博物馆,传承弟子众多。
曾多次应邀赴台湾地区及美国、俄罗斯、新加坡演讲、演奏。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目古琴艺术（广陵琴派）代表性传承人。
研制的古琴获外观设计专利六项。
