自1982年起，师从其父刘绳俊系统学习长汀公嫲吹的演奏技艺，为长汀公嫲吹在河田下街的第七代传人。

男，汉族，1969年9月生，福建省长汀县人。
熟练掌握连奏、单吐、三吐、弹音、花舌、箫音、滑音、颤音和垫音等吹奏技巧，能将口技与手技灵活结合，公吹（即高音唢呐）和嫲吹配合效果甚佳，尤擅公吹吹奏。
吹奏音质明亮粗犷、音色甜美、曲调哀怨缠绵，颇具乡土气息。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目唢呐艺术（长汀公嫲吹）代表性传承人。
为传承与弘扬长汀公嫲吹，突破传统家族传承的局限，已培养出了十余名优秀传承人。
