男，汉族，1955年8月生，湖北省枝江市人。
1979年拜杜海涛为师，学习民间吹打乐，秉承了王进喜、郑进芳、杜海涛等祖师们所授的下河派技艺风格，能熟练演奏各类曲牌一百五十余首，并对传统曲牌加以整理和提高，吸取其精华。
演奏特点是击乐敲打干净利落、节奏明快、情绪转化自如。
致力于民间吹打乐的传承和发展，先后授徒三十余人，常年义务到学校、社区和村镇进行辅导，并牵头组建了枝江市首支女子吹打乐班。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目枝江民间吹打乐代表性传承人。
曾参加“文化力量民间精彩”湖北省首届社会文艺团队展演并获得一等奖。
