现为泉州市南音研究社音乐顾问、泉州市南音艺术家协会顾问、《中国泉州南音集成》民间艺术家委员会委员，自幼习南音，10岁由陈绍良先生启蒙，12岁师承永春弦管名师林庶烟先生。

男，汉族，1933年11月生，福建省安溪县人。
通晓南音上下四管乐器，擅长琵琶，弹奏的姿势、手势、线路、指法规范，指力到位，节奏准确，速度适中，音色纯清；精于南音乐器制作，制作的琵琶、三弦、洞箫、二弦、拍板被福建省博物院收藏。
至今已教授学生四百余人，为南音社输送人才。
注重保存搜集南音的文字、图片和实物，为南音艺术保存了宝贵资料。

第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目南音代表性传承人。
