男，汉族，1940年4月生，河北省乐亭县人。
从小受乐亭皮影戏、乐亭大鼓和莲花落的熏陶和影响，对民间艺术产生了浓厚兴趣。
1960年起拜老艺人曹玉俭为师，学唱昌黎民歌，从此走上了学习、演唱、传承和传播昌黎民歌的艺术之路。
不断吸收昌黎地方戏曲的精髓，使昌黎民歌得以创新发展。
能熟练演唱《绣灯笼》《捡棉花》《茉莉花》《正对花》等众多地方特色突出的昌黎民歌。
多年坚持参加文艺演出，开展讲座，深入多所院校演唱和进行讲授、辅导。
2015年整理了昌黎民歌代表性曲目一百首，集印成册。
2016年参与主编了《昌黎民歌》一书。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目昌黎民歌代表性传承人。
