自幼受大鼓艺术熏陶，1981年高中毕业后，正式拜中州大鼓第六代传人张观来为师。

男，汉族，1965年8月生，河南省新乡县人。
1990年全面掌握大鼓的各种打法，并熟知铙和镲的打法，以及中州大鼓的步伐、调度。
表演气势恢宏，音乐变化丰富，特别是舞镲出场采用拉幕式编排，将男性的阳刚气质融合于表演当中，气势宏伟，深受同行和专家赞誉。
还自筹资金，建立中州大鼓展示馆，搜集中州大鼓的有关资料和实物进行展示。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目锣鼓艺术（中州大鼓）代表性传承人。
多年来，还通过以师带徒、到学校授课，重点培养了学员一百余名，并先后在新乡、洛阳、焦作、临汾等地指导组建近百支鼓队。
