Mastery, Signature Works & Repertoire
Male, Han ethnicity, born in June 1941, a native of Teng County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He later formed the Xuanzhou lion team. He continually explored the lion's form, movements and psychology, and created an original set of highly difficult Teng County lion dance movements integrating martial arts, acrobatics, gymnastics and dance; the wire-rope split, the lion's tail hanging from a stake to pluck the greens and two lions mounting high stakes are especially breathtaking. He has repeatedly led his team in major lion dance competitions at home and abroad, achieving excellent results. He has taken many disciples, who are spread throughout the country, and a number of them have become national-level lion dance judges or coaches.
