Lineage & School of Heritage
In 1962 she entered the Bengbu Cultural Work Troupe and studied Huagudeng under the veteran artist Feng Guopei, acquiring a comprehensive mastery of the Feng school's performance style: light feet, strong rhythm, beautiful posture, true feeling and charming form. She also studied with Huagudeng artists Chen Jingzhi and Zheng Jiuru, and has an exact command of the three major schools of the lanhua role.

Female, Han ethnicity, born in November 1945, a native of Bengbu City, Anhui Province. While preserving the authenticity of the genre, she accurately conveys the twisting and tilting carriage and the slipping and flashing dynamics, bringing out the dance's latent meaning, strengthening the sculptural quality of its posture and dynamics, and forming her own distinctive artistic style and signature movements, such as the wiping and turning fan, the skipping and brushing start, the lifting, covering and turning fan, and the linked turning fan oblique tower. A large body of outstanding Huagudeng works she has created has repeatedly won national, provincial and ministerial awards.
Honors & Recognition
A national representative bearer of Huagudeng (Bengbu Huagudeng), a fifth-batch national intangible cultural heritage project. For many years she has taught Huagudeng at many art academies and performing groups and has trained a large number of transmitters.
