1948年进入西安尚友社学艺，1952年进入华阴县新中社学艺，师承李桂芳、贺银亮等秦腔名家，主攻文武小生。

男，汉族，1938年12月生，陕西省华阴县人。
国家一级演员。
代表性剧目有《黄鹤楼》《长坂坡》《夜战马超》《梁山伯与祝英台》等。
迄今为止共演出传统戏、现代戏一百余出，导演传统戏、现代戏四十多出。
嗓音明亮高亢，表演干净利落。
陕西省电台曾录制专题节目《卫赞成谈声腔艺术的提高》。
代表性剧目有《激友》《卧薪尝胆》《杀庙》《哭墓》《别窑》等。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目秦腔代表性传承人。
几十年来，为华阴市迷胡剧团培养了大批人才。
