女，汉族，1960年8月生，江苏省启东县人。
国家一级演员。
1979年考入上海长宁沪剧团做随团学员，随后正式成为长宁沪剧团演员，1984年拜沪剧宗师石筱英为师。
唱腔以“石派”为主，并吸取“丁（是娥）派”、“杨（飞飞）派”的特色，唱腔风格兼有石筱英的酣畅、顾月珍的柔美和杨飞飞的醇厚，擅长把现代歌曲的节奏和气声的技巧运用到沪剧演唱中。
主要作品有《秋海棠》《魂断蓝桥》《歌女飘零》《八年离乱》《母亲的情怀》《文红老师》《江姐》等。
