1969年加入肥乡县旧店乡南营村四股弦剧团，拜老艺人张学信、王士贤为师学艺，后加入邢台马凤仙四股弦剧团，拜张连奎为师，主攻花脸、黑脸。

男，汉族，1953年11月生，河北省肥乡县人。
其戏路较宽，正反角色兼能演，能根据人物形象和性格设计肢体动作和面部表情，台风稳健、动作收放自如，成功塑造了一系列鲜明生动的花脸、黑脸等人物形象，代表作有《忠保国》《斩姚期》《红枫口》《单刀赴会》等数十部。
开展剧本记录整理工作，已完成《王莽篡朝》《疯哑案》《忠保国》《斩姚期》《骂殿》等多部戏的文字整理工作。

第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目四股弦（冀南四股弦）代表性传承人。
广收学徒，培养新人，如陈兰英、李晓峰、李晓燕等。
