出身上党梨园世家，高祖父和曾祖父都是上党梆子老艺人，受家庭影响，幼年时对上党梆子产生浓厚兴趣。

女，汉族，1938年11月生，山西省泽州县人。
12岁拜老演员梁怀生（艺名金疙瘩）为师，主攻花旦、青衣、老旦。
后来在赵树理的引荐下，得到京剧艺术名家程砚秋的指点，理论和演技得到了很大提升。
唱腔圆润委婉、行腔变化自如，做功戏文雅朴实、细腻逼真，既具有上党梆子特点，又带有京剧韵味。
代表作品有《虹霓关》《破洪州》《佘杨缘》《棋子阵》《寒江关》等。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目上党二簧代表性传承人。
坚持随团带徒，组办戏剧学校，累计培养学员一百六十多人，积极参与各类公益演出，使上党二黄艺术得到进一步保护、传承和发展。
