男，汉族，1948年11月生，吉林省榆树市人。
16岁时师承第三代鼓书艺人闫荣学习东北大鼓的表演和伴奏，并将东北的民间小调等地域音乐元素融入东北大鼓表演之中，形成了表演庄重、唱腔浑厚、妙语连珠、刚柔相济的表演风格。
经常走乡串户，搜集东北大鼓的唱段和文本，整理改编了《忠烈剑侠》《康熙剑侠》等十几部长篇大书，并创作改编了《草船借箭》等久演不衰的鼓词名段。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目东北大鼓代表性传承人。
多年来，积极开展东北大鼓的传承工作，开办“聚贤书曲茶社”为群众演出，并培养了宋丽光、王春玲等六名弟子。
2011年，在榆树市第七小学设立东北大鼓培训基地，培养后继人才。
