男，汉族，1941年6月生，广东省顺德县人。
成长于龙舟说唱风气极盛、说唱艺人集中的杏坛镇，在耳濡目染之下，1953年开始习演龙舟说唱。
在杏坛龙舟艺人“龙舟宁”等前辈的传授下，继承了龙舟说唱的技巧，掌握了龙舟说唱平民化、活泼生动的艺术特点，形成了诙谐生动、简朴平直、极富乡土味的表演风格。
熟悉龙舟说唱传统曲目一百多首，并能自编、自唱、自演，深受村民欢迎。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目龙舟说唱代表性传承人。
注重龙舟说唱艺术的传承，经常到中小学传授表演技巧，并收徒传艺，已培养多批学员。
