出身于雕刻世家，自幼随祖父刘东魁、叔祖父刘东元、父亲刘占法学艺，1986年入中央工艺美术学院雕塑系深造，1998年创办荣杰雕刻公司和通宝雕塑公司。

男，汉族，1962年12月生，河北省曲阳县人。
中国工艺美术大师，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。
坚守传统手工艺，并承古开新，摸索出抛荒、定型、做细、抛光等一整套石雕技法，发明用于镂雕、透雕的异型工具，参与研发“纵横线立体放大法”。
创作《跨兽观音》《三世佛》《哼哈二将》《世界第一大卧佛》《世界老寿星》等百余件精品，制作了《朱毛会师》等一百余项地标性雕塑工程。
Honors & Recognition
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目曲阳石雕代表性传承人。
