男，满族，1948年2月生，江苏省南京市人。
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目南京云锦木机妆花手工织造技艺代表性传承人。
高级工艺美术师，江苏省工艺美术大师，江苏省文史研究馆馆员。
自幼苦练绘画，1973年被选入原南京云锦研究所，得到朱枫、徐仲杰、汪印然等大师的言传身教，历时四十五载，逐步掌握了云锦手工妆花织造技艺的花本技艺。
1984年被选派赴中央工艺美术学院深造，学习装饰绘画和壁画艺术，系统学习了东西方艺术理论。
数十年创作实践形成独特的艺术风格。
2005年以来，作品《万寿中华》被人民大会堂收藏，《丹顶和鸣》被外交部选为国礼，《九龙图》等作品被各大博物馆收藏。

曾在全国和省级的展会上获得金奖。
