随祖父学习蓝印花布印染技艺，后随李楚宣师傅学习雕版工艺，17岁学成出师。

男，汉族，1951年4月生，湖南省邵阳县人。
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目蓝印花布印染技艺代表性传承人。
搜集整理传统印版十二张，蓝印花布被面六床，修复“凤凰牡丹”“蝶戏牡丹”“鸭戏莲花”等三十二个传统印版。
2008年开始收徒授艺，先后培养出蒋亚屏、王坚等十六名技艺爱好者。
2013年初，担任蓝印花布印染技艺进校园活动技术辅导员，并编写蓝印花布教材。
积极参加第三届成都国际非遗节、深圳第五届国际文化博览会等大型宣传展示活动。
