男，汉族，1957年11月生，福建省将乐县人。
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目竹纸制作技艺代表性传承人。
竹纸制作技师。
16岁开始师从其父刘启春，学习西山纸造纸技术，先后专事焙纸、扛尾等工作，历时十年左右基本掌握了包括砍竹、浸漂、腌渍、剥竹麻、踏料、抄纸、榨纸、钳纸、焙纸等在内的全部工艺流程，尤为擅长腌渍、洗竹麻、踏料和抄纸。
特别注重造纸环境和所用水源的质量，从而保证制作出的西山纸保有细腻柔韧、光润洁净、吸水性强、久存不蛀的品质。
