男，满族，1956年9月生，北京市人。
第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目官式古建筑营造技艺（北京故宫）代表性传承人。
1978年参加工作，学习古建筑瓦作传统工艺，1986年进入故宫博物院，师从朴学林，学习官式古建筑瓦作技艺。
从业四十年，在北京地区瓦作传统工艺和官式古建筑瓦作工艺做法方面，坚持传统瓦作规矩，准确把握不同做法的形制特点，积累了丰富的施工和管理经验。
参与天安门城楼和故宫多所建筑的修缮工程以及故宫建福宫花园、中正殿院落的复建工程。
注重在实际操作中传授瓦作传统技艺，授徒闫建军、程现丰等人。
