Female, of Mongolian ethnicity, born in June 1951 in Chen Barag Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. She is a national representative bearer of Yurt Building Craftsmanship, a fifth-batch national intangible cultural heritage project. She is a yurt construction technician. From her early teens she learned the basic skills of making reed-mat yurts from her mother, Taga, and afterwards studied the craft further under her mother-in-law. She also helped relatives and friends in the labour of building reed-mat yurts, accumulating many years of experience. The craft of building reed-mat yurts includes making the weilian deburi (roof cover), the willow-withe taoriga (wall lattice) and plaited horsehair rope. She has humbly learned the traditional craft of making horsehair rope from older artisans, and the horsehair rope she produces is therefore fine and durable.
