He later studied Yao medicine further under a medicinal bathing practitioner in his own village, specializing in medicinal bathing. He is familiar with the growing environment and medicinal properties of every herb used in Yao medicinal bathing, and is one of the few local transmitters who command the core art of Yao medicine. Building on his family's secret formulas, he independently developed a distinctive medicinal bathing health formula that is notably effective, particularly for gynecological conditions and arthritis, and is well recognized by local people.

Male, Yao ethnicity, born in January 1955 in Congjiang County, Guizhou Province. From childhood he learned Yao herbal medicine from his mother, and by his early teens could identify several dozen medicinal herbs and knew their properties well. He is skilled in the use of Yao folk medicine and has cured many patients with unusual and difficult diseases by prescribing according to the symptoms.
