男，壮族，1948年10月生，广西壮族自治区武鸣县人。
能触景生情，即兴创作，所唱山歌内容丰富，多为五言四句，循环演唱，以物拟人、以事抒情，注重押韵，擅长用比兴、比拟或暗喻的手法来直抒胸臆，颇富趣味，深受群众喜爱。
热心组织村民参加三月三活动，在当地有一定的号召力。
以歌会友，广收学徒，多次赴区内外参加山歌对唱大赛。

第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目三月三（壮族三月三）代表性传承人。
