男，汉族，1959年2月生，海南省琼海市人。
出身于渔民家庭，自幼受家庭影响喜爱航海。
在闯南海的几十年间，每年四分之三的时间都在海上，熟练掌握《更路簿》和南海的气候、岛礁、洋流、渔场、天气、航线和捕鱼技艺等，每次都能带领船上的渔民平安丰收归来。
曾多次被邀请参与搬运南海建设设施和执行相关航海任务。

第五批国家级非物质文化遗产项目南海航道更路经代表性传承人。
致力于传统海洋文化的保护和传播，积极传授南海航道更路经，并采取理论加实地传习的方式，在南海航行实践中传授传统航海和捕捞等知识。
